About the job

Reporting to WEB&API Platform Product Owner team, you guide clients in the end to end service, architecture, design, setup, and management of the Web Middleware and Hosting platforms on-premise or cloud providers such as Azure and AWS responsible for improvement of the products, develop, implement, manage and secure the Web Platforms and support business project in them Web transformation journey assessing the opportunities to simplify, modernize and customize the costs of current architectures. To successfully accomplish this task, you work in close collaboration with program and project leaders, engineers, consultants, solution architects, partners, and relevant business stakeholders leveraging our Web platform products and technologies standards.

Responsibilities

o Collaborate with Web cloud experts’ team to improve them expertise, motivating, evangelizing, and coaching the team

o Stay closer to the market and governing laws and potential regulations that apply to technology offerings/business capabilities

o Instigate and lead innovation to continually improve service performance or address emerging/unmet customer needs

o End to end delivery of services (design, engineering, deployment, and operations including KPIs)

o Ensures quality and timely delivery of service to consumers

o Service lifecycle and roadmap and continuous improvement plans

o Service creation/service decommission

o Gather and document user requirements and identify new features; translate business/user requirements into design

o Provide the technical supervision and guidance for Security, Capacity and Lifecycle management of the applications

o Provide input into annual and long-range or strategic planning exercise
Facilitate the transfer of knowhow, experiences, and good practices within the Operational team.
Experience

o Senior experience in Web platforms in hybrid platforms and multi cloud

o Demonstrated understanding of modern User & Access Management Web middleware and hosting concepts and best practices required

o Demonstrated understanding in formulating strategies, implement end to end service with the lifecycle of the products,

o Ability to evaluate risk and communicate it in a fact-based manner

o Proficient in service management and agile framework/ tools

o Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to defend the Core Model position

o Strong experience in IT general controls Sox Audits and Internal Control best practices

o Experience with ServiceNow or any other incident management tool is highly desirable.

Soft skills:

o Proven ability to lead and work independently in multi-cultural and cross-functional environment

o Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.

o Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical people to enhance understanding and drive decisions that lead to positive outcomes.

o Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated.

o Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.

Technical skills:

o Web Middleware (JBoss EAP, Apache HTTPD, Apache/Tomcat, IIS.NET, WebLogic, WebSphere, Log4j, etc)

o Web Hosting (Azure WebAPP and App Service plan, AWS S3, etc)

o Container (Openshift, AKS, EKS)

o Good knowledge and experience around Infrastructure technologies (Solid knowledge in Cloud Azure, hosting platforms, API, …)

o Public and private clouds infrastructure and services i.e Azure, AWS and GCP

o Applications frameworks like Java, Ruby or PHP

o Agile methodology

o Architecture:
Knowledge of Infrastructure and Application Architecture
knowledge in Cloud and Application Hosting Architecture
o Compliance mindset:
Sox, GxP, FDA
Security management
Education

o Computer science degree or similar and preferable master’s degree

o Fluent English skills (verbal and written)
