The role:
GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructures, and territories. We create systems that support all kinds of peacekeeping and search & rescue operations, from HQ to personnel on the ground, including training and simulation tools.
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join GTD Defense & Security Solutions, the company of GTD Group specialized in the design and development of large, complex and/or safety-critical applications. Position activities:
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers with a clear orientation towards the integration of systems at all levels: mechanical, electrical, electronic and at the software level; mainly land border surveillance systems and naval systems, both national and export markets and during the entire life cycle of the project, from the technical specification, design, production and verification and validation.
Requirements
Your profile:
At least 2 years of experience in SW development projects, participating in all phases of a projects life cycle
Experience in programming languages C, C++ and JAVA
Experience with scripting languages (Python) and Shell
Linux knowledge
Knowledge and common use of version control tools (SVN, GIT, etc.)
Experience in formal verification of SW (unit tests, integration and validation with client)
English level B1
Nice to have:
Knowledge of other programming languages (C#)
Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (Deep Learning, neural network training)
Basic knowledge of GIS systems
Knowledge of continuous integration environments (Jenkins, SonarQube)
Knowledge of relational (MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases
Enterprise Architect experience
Disability certificate will be considered an asset
