The Software Developer plans, designs, implements and maintains full-stack .NET web solutions that serve as the toolset backbone of Technology and Product Development at Qorvo. Qorvo has differentiated itself with custom state of the art process toolsets that enable our Research & Development teams to execute at world class capability. The Software Developer will create new modules in the latest technologies as well as maintain and enhance existing legacy systems; these systems primarily automate the creation and interaction of SAP data and reduce manual business work.

REQUIREMENTS

Develop Full Stack .NET solutions in a distributed landscape consisting of ASP.NET, ASP .NET Core, Click-Once and Angular front-end applications. Backend solutions are, primarily, n-tiered .NET Framework and .NET Core implementations; technologies include: WCF Services, RESTful APIs, Windows Services and Console Apps. Backend solutions interact with MS SQL and SAP data layers.

Responsible for refactoring/rearchitecting legacy systems and tackling technical debt while balancing the risks of refactoring with the scope of new feature development.

Collaborate with the BA and Leadership team to create an actionable development plan as work is funneled in the Agile development process.

Strong understanding of OOP, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Web API, and Web/WCF application development.

Strong understanding of SOLID, and Clean Architecture development patterns and principles

Strong analytical skills with proven experience in algorithm analysis and optimization.

Strong technical writing skills, experienced in code and application documentation

Passionate about writing quality code and constantly honing your development skills.

Proven experience working in a team, as well as independently.

Knowledgeable on Agile, source control (TFS/git), and branching.

QUALIFICATIONS

Exceptional attention to detail.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.

Excellent communication skills.

8+ years of .NET development experience.

2+years of .NET Core development experience

2+ years WinForms and WCF Service development experience, as well as experience using 3rd party APIs for data retrieval and creation is advantageous.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in SQL.

Knowledge of SharePoint development is a plus

Understanding of and how to write UML diagrams is a plus

Excellent English communication (writing and speaking) skills
