Senior Civil Engineer Solar & Hybrid Power Plants (d m f)

What You Will Do
Consulting the project engineers in terms of geotechnical, hydrological, road design and structural questions
On-site visits of our solar power plants within the EMEA-region
Definition of standard procedures and workflows for civil engineering tasks at BayWa r.e.
Reviewing geotechnical, hydrological and structural studies provided by the external companies and transfer of the relevant content to the project engineers
Calculation of earthworks for the specific project locations
Postprocessing the GIS datasets for Engineering applications
Making assessments of flood risk and erosion potential in greenfield projects
Developing construction drawings for civil works
Assisting the construction team in on-site problem-solving in terms of civil engineering questions
Supporting all internal departments with regards to civil and structural engineering questions
Conducting structural foundation calculations
What You Bring
Degree in civil engineering or in a comparable field
At least 5 years of experience in the field of civil engineering, preferably in the field of solar power plant engineering
Knowledge in structural engineering procedures as well as in norms and standards in the aforementioned fields
Ability to read and interpret all sorts of civil engineering related studies
Fluency in business English (other languages used in the EMEA region would be a plus)
Working proficiency with Autocad Civil 3D
Willingness to travel frequently to construction sites all over Europe
Valid driving licence for Europe
