How to contribute to our vision
Would you like to join us on a journey of implementing operation & maintenance tools and solutions for our global wind farm fleet? For our OM Tools team within the Software Solutions department, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Software Developer for driving and supporting our current set of tools. You will take an active part in the software design, development, validation and maintenance.
Our tools provide a variety of features related to many wind turbine devices: system updates, data trackers, monitoring, etc. Your main focus will be software development for our entire family of products.
We are an agile and innovative team that values openness and teamwork while constantly striving to perform and deliver on our promises. We work with a modern tech stack based on Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, and more. Our backend consists of Microsoft SQL, we code mainly in C# although other languages as C or Python are also used, and both for desktop and web applications. For the front end we use REACT.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change the world to renewable energy.
The ideal candidate holds an academic degree related to Computer Science, SW Engineering or System Engineering.
Practical experience in the following areas is mandatory:
Backend development (API’s, SQL, SQL Compact)
Software Development in C# and .NET 6 (Python and C are also beneficial)
UI/UX experience (REACT is also beneficial)
Development of desktop and web applications. WPF and ASP. NET MVC (Labwindows is also beneficial)
Containers based development (Docker, Kubernetes,...)
Windows Server administration
Working in a CI/CD environment (Azure DevOps, SAFe)
Working with infrastructure/OT networks
Knowledge of industrial devices and their communication protocols is valuable
High level in English is required
Most importantly, you have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
