What will your role look like?
Your mission as Executive Director for Eticas Foundation will be to help Eticas grow by providing visionary leadership, overseeing strategic initiatives, and spearheading fundraising efforts. You will understand Eticas scope, mission, vision, and projects to generate impact opportunities.
You will have a proven track record in nonprofit management, extensive experience in fundraising and networking within the world of technological innovation, and a passion for driving impact and defending rights.
Your success in this mission will be stellar if you develop the following roles and responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the Foundations strategic vision and goals in alignment with Eticasmission.
Provide leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
Fundraising and Development:
Lead and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure the Foundations financial goals and diversify the funding portfolio.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key donors and stakeholders to ensure sustainable funding for the organization.
Explore and pursue new funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships, translating our approach to responsible technology and communicating Eticas unique value proposition.
Oversee proper tracking and justification of active grants and report on the success metrics of the fundraising strategy and efforts.
Networking and Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials industry leaders, other nonprofits, and civil society organizations.
Represent the organization at conferences, events, and meetings to enhance our visibility and influence within the ethical AI and nonprofit sectors.
Financial Management:
Oversee the organizations financial health, including budget development, fiscal responsibility, and financial reporting.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
Program Management and Impact Assessment:
Provide oversight and support to program managers, ensuring the effective implementation of key initiatives..
Internal Reporting and Collaboration:
Work closely with Eticas senior leadership, providing regular updates and reports on the organizations performance, financial status, and strategic direction.
Collaborate on governance, program development, and long-term planning of fundraising efforts and organizational priorities.
Collaborate with the team to assess and measure the impact of programs, making data-driven decisions to enhance effectiveness of key initiatives.
Requisitos mínimos :
What will make you suceed?
Ability to read, speak and write fluently in Spanish & English.
Proven experience (7+ years) in nonprofit leadership and management, with a focus on fundraising and networking.
Demonstrated success in networking and fundraising, including securing major gifts, grants, and sponsorships. As well as the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement organizational strategies.
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Strong understanding of the tech sector and its potential for social impact.
Have a good knowledge of the US and European public administrations, philanthropic organizations and other sources of grants, calls, challenges and tenders, as well as the business and industry landscape.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in remote and cloud-based environments
A proactive and independent can-do mindset and a lifelong learning attitude
They would love it if you also...
Speak and write in other European languages (Catalan, French, German, Dutch, etc.)
Have experience with PM software like ClickUp, Asana, etc.
Have a Privacy Concern: you challenge Data Laws and you are concerned about the importance of Data.
Familiar with web environments (wordpress, elementor, css, html)
