Gamma Energy has been established in the UK for 9 years and belongs to the Diggia Group. We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Engineer to join our team as we grow our UK business.
Area/Department description
Diggia are an international engineering group who provide a suite of services over a range of renewable energy assets; in particular electric vehicle charging infrastructure, ground mounted and rooftop commercial scale and utility scale solar PV, energy efficiency improvements and battery technology.

Your mission
Commission, service and maintain Electric Vehicle Charge Points (EVCPs)
Utilise diagnostic tools and procedures and identify faults which can be communicated to the customer.
Compile technical reports on completion of each job detailing the work undertaken and the reasons why.
Comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation applicable to the role.
Maintain the cleanliness of all sites and report any defects/problems.
Perform risk assessments on site and be able to follow method statements.
Ability to troubleshoot by consulting electrical diagrams, schematics and other sources as necessary.
Respond to the company’s maintenance emergency needs.
Respond quickly and effectively to requests from both our internal teams and our clients.
Willing to travel and stay away from home as necessary, in line with the requirements of the role.
Your profile
18th Edition - Level 3 Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671 and C&G 2391 equivalent.
Competent in the use of power tools and hand tools.
Displays a high level of IT competency, including Microsoft Office.
Ability and willingness to work on and gain understanding of new equipment and technologies.
Analytical skills to assist in fault resolution.
Ability to understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
Ability to respond and act promptly on all tasks delivered.
Strong understanding of health and safety.
Knowledge of IOSH and CSCS First Aid.
Displays a strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to establish effective and cooperative working partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.
Displays a proactive attitude and ability to use initiative.
